Aprilia Storm 125 Exits From The Indian Market
Piaggio has decided to remove the Aprilia Storm 125 from its portfolio in India. The decision was taken after news of its being shelved appeared. Being the most cheap scooter of the brand, Aprilia had a price tag of Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). The Storm 125 was based on the SR 125 which was the first performance focused to be released by Aprilia in India.

The main reason the Aprilia SR125 was put on the market in India was to make the brand more affordable. With the on-road price of the SR160 being close to Rs 1.30 lakh, the brand needed a scooter that could continue to bring in new buyers.
