TVS Motor Company claims that the Apache RTR 165 RP's redesigned cylinder head increases intake by 35% and has a two electrode spark plug. Valve size increases 15% in the motor. The new Apache RTR 165 RP also has a Sport slipper clutch, customizable clutch & braking levers, red colour in alloy wheels, a revised seat pattern, and a segment-first 240mm rear disc brake. This new motorcycle looks like the Apache RTR 160 4V. However, it has updated TVS Racing decals .
